Affiliate Disclosure
CritVolt is reader-supported. Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission from the retailer. The price you pay is exactly the same either way.
Which links are affiliate links
Any link that sends you to a store to buy a product — graphics cards, prebuilt
PCs, monitors, peripherals, and occasionally games. These are marked with a
"Check price" button and carry a rel="sponsored" attribute so search
engines can identify them. Links to other articles, official sources, patch notes
and developer statements are never monetised.
Programmes we participate in
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. We also work with other retailer and manufacturer affiliate programmes through affiliate networks.
How this affects our recommendations
It does not. Which product wins a buying guide is decided on testing and value before commission rates are considered. We routinely recommend products that pay us nothing, and we leave out products that pay well but do not deserve a spot. If a pick changes, it is because the hardware, the price or the competition changed.
Prices and availability
Prices shown are indicative and were accurate when the article was written or last updated. Retail pricing moves constantly — always confirm the current price on the retailer's page before you buy.
Advertising
We also run display advertising. Advertisers have no input into editorial content, and ad slots are kept out of the reading flow wherever we can manage it.
