Requiem is out, and the conversation around it settled faster than most Resident Evil launches. The camera toggle worked, the performance held, and the arguments moved almost immediately to balance rather than technology.

The camera question answered itself

Capcom’s decision to ship both first-person and third-person, switchable at any time, removed the argument that dominated the run-up to launch. Players simply picked one.

Where the feedback actually went

Inventory pressure. It is the recurring note across launch-week discussion: Requiem asks you to make hard carrying decisions early, and opinion splits sharply on whether that is tension or friction.
